During the Middle Age, Nature was perceived as hostile. Pilgrims were exposed to dangerous animals, wolves along Le Puy route, Bears while crossing the Pyrenees, robbers of all kinds, vast empty forests and deserts prevailed and few safe places were available to spend the night. Today our relationship with Nature is completely different.
Nature became for us a fragile refuge against an often toxic environment and a peaceful yet powerful help for a better thinking of our lives.
